Street Area

Our school sports league scheme is an inter school competition ran after school between schools in the same area. The teams will be made up of pupils from years 5 and 6 and each team will play 5 other teams in the local area over 10 weeks. Matches will be refereed by our qualified sports coaches who are all CRB checked.

Information


  • 6 to 10 local schools
  • 1 match per fortnight
  • Alternate home then away
  • Sept – Dec Netball, Jan to March Football, Apr to July Cricket*
  • Year 5/6
  • Our coaches referee and monitor children
  • Up to 12 children per squad, minimum 10
  • League table and stats on www.sporting-world.net
  • Trophy for winning team and stat leaders
  • Sports clothing or equipment for winning school
  • Parents arrange travel
  • Fixture list published before start of league
  • Available to Give it a go! Scheme
  • Local press coverage
  • Sporting world produce flyers/leaflets – no admin or financial commitment from your school
